About Cardinal vodka
The history of Cardinal vodka starts in the early 20th century when it was first exported to other continents. In those days, distilled products such as gin and vodka were exported to many countries speaking many languages. In order to communicate, each distillery chose its own symbols and signs to identify the product. Cardinal, the name of a bird, was used for a specific range of our products. The various colours of the bird had their own meaning: a blue bird meant vodka, a white bird stood for gin. Soon the Cardinal bird came to symbolise the high quality of Dutch spirits, a reputation we have always cherished.
In the late 1980's Cardinal was relaunched for a complete range of distilled products. Cardinal is now sold all over the world. The main markets are Southern and Eastern European countries, as well as the United States of America.
Cardinal Vodka is a triple-distilled vodka made using the renowned Dutch distillation techniques used to make jenever (Dutch gin). The production process involves the use of old copper distillation stills that enhance the vodka's quality and flavour. Instead of distilling once to a volume of 96% alcohol, this vodka is produced using a step-by-step distillation process. Because of very careful filtering and the use of the finest quality water, Cardinal Vodka is clear, pure and has an excellent palate. Drink Cardinal Vodka pure from the freezer and your mouth will be filled with the softest ice water that nature can provide. Smooth, tasteful, simply superior. It is the ultimate treat for your taste buds, just as vodka should be!
Cardinal Vodka (40% Alc./Vol) is available in 0.7, 0.75, 1.00 and 1.75 litre bottles.
